Cumin Uses and Benefits



Cumin (Cuminum cyminum), the most important spice in Asian kitchen. It has a special flavor and odor, slightly reminiscent of nuts.

Cumin added to meat and fish dishes, baked and stewed vegetables, and salads. Placed in the bean, pea meal, to facilitate digestion.Also placed in a pastry and some kind of tea.

In France is very popular cheese and curd, flavored with cumin.  In Greece and Germany cumin added to the sausages, pot roast, sauerkraut.  Cumin used in many spice blends.

Cumin is used in the intestine, kidney disease, diarrhea and flatulence treatment. Has antiseptic properties (used to clean the external pimples).
